Materials:
- Yarn: Worsted weight yarn (approx. 1200-1800 yards depending on size)
- Hook: 5.5 mm (I-9)
- Stitch markers
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Gauge:
14 stitches x 10 rows = 4 inches in wave stitch pattern (blocked)
Sizes:
This pattern is written for sizes XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL). Instructions for increases are included in the pattern.
Stitches Used:
- Chain (ch)
- Double Crochet (DC)
- Front Post Double Crochet (FPDC)
- Back Post Double Crochet (BPDC)
- Slip Stitch (sl st)
Pattern Notes:
The pullover is worked from the top down in one piece. Use stitch markers to mark the beginning of each round.
Instructions:
Body:
1. Start with a magic ring and chain 3 (counts as first dc). Work 11 dc into the ring. Pull the tail to close the ring. Join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch-3.
2. Round 2: Ch 3, (FPDC in next dc, BPDC in next dc) around, join.
3. Round 3: Ch 3, (DC in next FPDC, DC in next BPDC) around, join.
4. Repeat rounds 2 and 3 until you reach your desired armhole height.
Sleeves:
1. Attach yarn at the shoulder seam. Chain to the desired sleeve length and repeat wave stitch pattern for the sleeves.
Finishing:
1. Weave in all ends and block the pullover as necessary for the best fit.
Care Instructions:
Hand wash in cold water, lay flat to dry.
