Materials
- Worsted weight yarn in beige or neutral color
- Crochet hook size H/8 (5.0 mm)
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
Abbreviations
- ch: chain
- st: stitch
- sl st: slip stitch
- sc: single crochet
- dc: double crochet
- sk: skip
- rep: repeat
Gauge
16 dc x 10 rows = 4 inches
Instructions
Back Panel
- Ch 106 (or width to fit your size).
- Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each ch across. Turn.
- Row 2-4: Ch 3, dc in each st across. Turn.
- Row 5: Ch 5, sk 2 sts, dc in next st, *ch 2, sk 2 sts, dc in next; rep from * across, ending with dc in last st. Turn.
- Row 6-60: Rep Row 5. Adjust length as needed.
Front Panels (make 2)
- Ch 54 (or half the width of the back panel).
- Rows 1-60: Rep Rows 1-60 of back panel. Turn.
Pockets (make 2)
- Ch 20.
- Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across. Turn.
- Rows 2-16: Ch 1, sc in each st across. Turn.
- Finish off and weave in ends.
Assembly
- With wrong sides facing, sew front panels to back panel at shoulders and sides, leaving armholes.
- Sew each pocket to front panels, positioning them midway down each front.
Edging
- With right side facing, attach yarn to bottom corner of one front panel. Ch 1, sc evenly along front edge, around neckline, and back down the other front edge. Fasten off.
Block the garment to measurements, if desired.
