Materials:

Instructions:
Body Panels:
1. Back Panel: - Chain 80 (or adjust for size). - Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each ch across (78 dc). Turn. - Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), *bobble stitch in next dc, dc in next 3 dc; repeat from * across. Turn. - Repeat Row 2 until the panel measures 25 inches long. Fasten off.
2. Front Panels (Make 2): - Chain 40 (or adjust for size). - Repeat the same instructions as for the back panel until it measures 25 inches long, but add a button hole on the last row by making 2 ch, skip 2 dc.
Sleeves:
3. Chain 50. - Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each ch across (48 dc). Turn. - Row 2: Ch 3, *bobble in next dc, dc in next 2 dc; repeat from * across. Turn. - Repeat Row 2 until sleeve measures 20 inches long. Fasten off. Make 2 sleeves.
Assembly:
4. Lay the back panel flat. Attach the front panels to each side, sewing or slip stitching them into place. - Attach the sleeves to the bodice, ensuring they are aligned with the armholes.
5. Ribbing: - Using your smaller hook, create a ribbed edging along the bottom of the cardigan and sleeves with sc stitches. - Continue until the desired ribbing length is achieved, then fasten off.Finishing:
6. Weave in all loose ends using a tapestry needle. - Add buttons if desired at the front openings, aligned with buttonholes. - Block the cardigan gently to shape it if necessary.
