Crochet Relaxed Textured Boho Sweater Free Pattern
Materials:
- DK weight yarn (approximately 800-1200 yards depending on size)
- Size G (4.0 mm) crochet hook
- Stitch markers
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
Gauge:
18 stitches and 22 rows = 4 inches in double crochet
Sizes:
This pattern offers sizes S (36”), M (40”), L (44”), XL (48”), 2X (52”), 3X (56”), 4X (60”) and 5X (64”).
Stitches Used:
- Chain (ch)
- Slip stitch (sl st)
- Single crochet (sc)
- Double crochet (dc)
- Shell stitch: (5 dc in the same stitch)
Pattern Notes:
- This sweater is worked from the bottom up and features a yoke construction for easy fitting.
- To adjust the length, add or subtract rows in the body section.
Instructions:
Body
- Ch 80 (for size S; adjust for larger sizes by adding multiples of 10). Join with a sl st to form a ring.
- Round 1: Ch 2 (counts as dc), dc in each st around. Join with sl st to top of ch-2.
- Round 2: Ch 3, *dc in next st, shell stitch in next st; repeat from * around. Join with sl st to top of ch-3.
- Repeat Round 2 until the body measures 16” (or desired length). Fasten off.
Yoke
- Reattach the yarn at the center back. Ch 2, dc in each st around. Join to ch-2.
- Round 1: Ch 3, dc in next st, *shell stitch in next st, dc in next 3 sts; repeat from * around. Join with sl st to ch-3.
- Continue in this pattern until the yoke measures 6” or desired width. Fasten off.
Sleeves
- For each sleeve, join yarn to side seam. Ch 2, dc around, working increase by 1 dc at the start and end of the round.
- Repeat until sleeves measure 18” or desired length. Fasten off.
Finishing
- Weave in all ends with a tapestry needle.
- Block your sweater to adjust shape and size as desired.
