Body
Chain 78 (86, 94, 104, 114, 124) to start the foundation. Turn your work and begin the first row:
Row 1: Hdc in the 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (77 hdc) Row 2: Ch 2, dc in blo of each st across. (77 dc) Repeat Rows 1 and 2 until the piece measures 18 inches from the foundation chain, ending with a Row 1.
Joining Strips
Fold your piece in half lengthwise, aligning the last row with the first. Join with slip stitches along one side. Turn your work inside out to hide seams.
Sleeves
For each sleeve, chain 34 (38, 44, 50, 54, 58). Work in row similar to body, continuing pattern until each sleeve measures 16 inches. Attach sleeves to the body by slip stitching around armholes.
Neckline
For the neckline, attach yarn at the center back, ch 2, and hdc around entire neckline until finished. Sl st to join and fasten off.
Finishing
Weave in all ends and block as desired to shape. Enjoy your new cozy and vibrant sweater!
