Materials
- Yarn: Medium weight acrylic or wool blend in ivory and gray
- Crochet Hook: Size H/8 (5mm)
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
Abbreviations
- ch: chain
- dc: double crochet
- sc: single crochet
- st(s): stitch(es)
- sp: space
- shell: 5 dc in the same st
Instructions
Ivory Section
- Using ivory yarn, ch 150.
- Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook and in each ch across. Turn.
- Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in next st, *sk 2 sts, shell in next st, sk 2 sts, dc in next 3 sts*, repeat * to * across. End with 2 dc in last 2 sts. Turn.
- Repeat Row 2 for desired length of ivory section, ending on a complete repeat.
Gray Section
- Attach gray yarn at end of last row of ivory section.
- Row 1: Ch 3, dc in each st across. Turn.
- Rows 2-5: Repeat Row 2 of Ivory Section (for pattern consistency).
Finishing
- Fasten off and weave in all ends using tapestry needle.
- Trim any excess yarn.
