Instructions:
Body:
- CO 120 sts for the bottom hem. Join to work in the round, being careful not to twist.
- Place marker and work in stockinette stitch (knit all rounds) for 12 inches. This will form the body of the sweater.
Sleeves:
- CO 40 sts onto DPNs or a shorter circular needle and join to work in the round.
- Knit until the sleeve measures 18 inches from CO edge, increasing 1 st every 4 inches for a total of 10 additional sts (50 sts total).
- Repeat for the second sleeve.
Joining Body and Sleeves:
- Join the sleeves to the body by placing them on the same circular needle, aligning them with the body and adding markers to separate each section.
- Knit in rounds for another 8 inches, maintaining even tension.
Neckline:
- Decrease 1 st at each marker every other round for a total of 3 inches to shape the neckline. Ensure stitches remain even and neat.
- BO loosely and weave in all ends.
Finishing:
- Block the sweater to measurements to relax stitches and shape.
- Lay flat to dry completely before wearing.
Your cozy knit mohair sweater is now ready to wear! Enjoy the warmth and softness.
