Materials

• 2 skeins of Brava Worsted Yarn in Rustic Orange
• 1 skein of Brava Worsted Yarn in Olive Green
• 5.00 mm (H) Crochet Hook
• Yarn Needle
• Scissors

Gauge

12 stitches and 14 rows = 4 inches in double crochet.

Abbreviations

• ch - chain
• dc - double crochet
• sc - single crochet
• sl st - slip stitch
• st(s) - stitch(es)
• RS - right side
• WS - wrong side

Instructions

1. Start the Scarf: Ch 30.
2. Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook and in each ch across. Turn. (28 dc)
3. Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as first dc here and throughout), dc in each st across. Turn.
4. Repeat Row 2 until scarf measures 60 inches, or desired length.
5. Make the Leaf Motif:
   • Using Olive Green yarn, ch 12.
   • Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 10 ch, turn.
   • Row 2: Ch 1, sk first sc, sc in next 9 sc, turn.
   • Row 3: Ch 1, sk first sc, sc in next 8 sc, turn.
   • Row 4: Ch 1, sk first sc, sc in next 7 sc, turn.
   • Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
6. Assemble: Fold the scarf in half and sew the leaf motif to one end.
