Materials Needed

• Bulky weight yarn in camel, cream, and black
• Size US 10 (6 mm) knitting needles
• Large eye tapestry needle
• Two large black buttons for eyes

Abbreviations

• CO: Cast On

Instructions

Body

1. Using camel yarn, CO 72 sts.
2. Work in 1x1 rib for 2 inches.
3. Switch to stockinette stitch and continue for 8 inches, adding the cream color for bear's face design using intarsia or duplicate stitch technique before assembly (approx. center front of piece).

Sleeves

1. CO 32 sts with camel yarn.
2. Work in 1x1 rib for 2 inches.
3. Switch to stockinette stitch, inc 1 st at each end of every 4th row until you have 46 sts.
4. At 10 inches total length, place sleeve sts on a holder.

Bear Ears (Make 2)
