- Worsted weight yarn in yellow and white
- 4mm crochet hook

SC - Single Crochet
CH - Chain

Star Body
1. With yellow yarn, make a magic ring.
2. Round 1: CH 1, 10 SC in ring (10)
3. Round 2: INC in each stitch around (20)
4. Round 3: *1 SC, INC* repeat around (30)
5. Round 4: *2 SC, INC* repeat around (40)
6. Rounds 5-8: SC in each stitch (40) for 4 rounds.
7. Round 9: *2 SC, DEC* repeat around (30)
8. Round 10: *1 SC, DEC* repeat around (20)
9. At this point, you can stuff the star lightly if desired.
10. Round 11: *DEC* repeat around (10)
11. Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew the top point. Pull the tail to close the hole.
Star Points
Make 5 points with yellow yarn:
1. CH 6, SC in the 2nd CH from the hook, HDC in the next CH, DC in the next CH, HDC in the next CH, SL ST in the last CH. Then, connect to the body.
2. Repeat to create all 5 points.
Finishing Touches
Attach safety eyes if using. Use white yarn to embroider a smile or other details if desired.
To Hang:
