This pattern will guide you in creating a lovely yarn needle holder that features textures and multiple pockets for your crafting needs.

Materials Needed:

• Yarn: Worsted weight cotton yarn in your choice of color
• Crochet hook: Size H (5.0 mm)
• Yarn needle
• Scissors

Stitches Used:

• Ch - Chain
• Sc - Single Crochet
• Dc - Double Crochet
• Sl st - Slip Stitch

Dimensions:

Approximately 10 inches wide and 8 inches tall when finished.

Instructions:

Base:
1. Ch 28.
2. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across (27 sc). Turn.
3. Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each sc across. Turn.
4. Repeat Row 2 until piece measures 8 inches tall.

Pockets:
1. For the smaller pocket, ch 15.
2. Repeat sc pattern as per the base until it measures 4 inches tall.
3. For the larger pocket, ch 20 and follow the same steps, but make it 6 inches tall.

Assembly:
1. Align the pockets on the base. Attach pockets using sl st around the edges, creating seams on three sides to leave the top open.
2. Slip stitch around the entire outer edge of the holder for a finished look.
3. Weave in all ends.
