Instructions:

Base of the Heart

1. Start with a magic ring.
2. Round 1: 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
3. Round 2: 2 sc in each st around. (12)
4. Round 3: *sc in next st, 2 sc in next st* repeat around. (18)
5. Round 4: *sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st* repeat around. (24)
6. Round 5-7: sc in each st around. (24)
7. Round 8: *sc in next 2 sts, inv dec* repeat around. (18)
8. Round 9: *sc in next st, inv dec* repeat around. (12)
9. Stuff the base lightly with fiberfill.
10. Round 10: inv dec around until closed. (6)
11. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Top of the Heart

1. Repeat steps 1-9 for the second base, but do not stuff yet.

Joining and Finishing

1. Align both pieces, wrong sides together.
2. Using the tails, sew the edges together with sc stitches around, leaving a small opening.
3. Stuff the heart firmly with fiberfill until desired softness and volume.
4. Close the opening with sc and fasten off securely.
