Crochet Playful Colorful Narwhal Amigurumi Free Pattern

Materials:

• Worsted weight yarn in three colors (main body, belly, horn)
• Size G (4.0 mm) crochet hook
• Yarn needle
• Polyester stuffing
• Black safety eyes (12 mm)

Gauge: Gauge is not critical for this project, but aim for tight stitches to avoid stuffing visibility.

Finished Size: Approximately 12 inches long.

Instructions:

Body:

1. With main body color, chain 30.
2. Row 1: Single crochet in 2nd chain from hook, and across (29 sc).
3. Row 2: Ch 1, turn. Sc in front loops only (29 sc).
4. Repeat Row 2 for 20 rows in total.
5. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Belly:

1. With belly color, repeat the same steps as for the body, but chain 28 to make a slightly smaller piece.
2. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Horn:

1. With horn color, chain 6.
2. Row 1: Sc in 2nd chain from hook and across (5 sc).
3. Row 2: Ch 1, turn. Sc in front loops only (5 sc).
4. Repeat Row 2 for 8 rows, then fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Assembly:

1. Position the belly piece on the bottom of the body and sew securely using the mattress stitch.
2. Attach safety eyes between Row 6 and Row 7 of the body piece.
3. Stuff the body before closing.
4. Pin the horn to the top center of the body and sew into place.
5. Weave in any remaining ends and adjust stuffing as needed.
