Hotpad Instructions:

1. Using Green yarn, make a magic ring.
2. Round 1: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 15 dc into ring. Join with sl st in top of ch 3 (16 dc).
3. Round 2: Ch 1, *sc in next dc, 2 sc in next dc; repeat from * around. Join with sl st (24 sc).
4. Round 3: Ch 1, sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc; repeat around. Join with sl st (32 sc).
5. Round 4: Switch to Cream yarn. Ch 1, *dc in next, ch 1; repeat from * around. Join and finish off (32 dc).
6. Add a Yellow star motif at the center if desired: Ch 5, sl st to form a ring, *ch 3, sl st into the ring; repeat 5 times. Finish off and sew to the center.

Finishing:
