Crochet Rustic Textured Fall Pumpkin Decor Free Pattern

Materials Needed:

• Worsted weight yarn in cream and green
• 4.0 mm crochet hook
• Tapestry needle
• Polyfill stuffing
• Twine for accent

Abbreviations:

• ch - chain
• sc - single crochet
• hdc - half double crochet
• st(s) - stitch(es)
• sl st - slip stitch
• inc - increase (2 sc in one stitch)
• dec - decrease (sc two together)

Instructions:

Pumpkin Body

1. With cream yarn, ch 36.
2. Row 1: sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across, turn. (35 sts)
3. Row 2: ch 1, sc in each st across, turn.
4. Repeat Row 2 until piece measures 10 inches.
5. Fold in half and sl st the foundation row and last row together to form a tube.
6. Using a tapestry needle, weave through one end and cinch tightly. Knot securely.
7. Stuff firmly with polyfill and weave through other end, cinch tightly. Knot securely.

Leaves (make 2)

1. With green yarn, ch 10.
2. Row 1: sc in second ch from hook, hdc in next, hdc in 2, sc in 2, hdc in next, sc in next. Turn.
3. Row 2: ch 1, sc in each st across. Fasten off.

Stem

1. With twine, wrap around a pencil to desired length. Secure ends with glue.

Assembly

• Sew leaves onto top of the pumpkin.
• Attach stem to center.
• Wrap twine around pumpkin body for a rustic finish.
