Crochet Elegant Vintage Wavy Triangle Shawl Free Pattern

Gauge: 16 stitches and 8 rows = 4" in double crochet. Adjust hook size if necessary.

Finished Measurements: Approximately 42" across the top and 21" from top to bottom point.

Instructions:

Begin with a Foundation Chain

Chain 4 and join to form a ring.

Row 1:

  • Chain 3 (counts as first double crochet).
  • In the ring, make 2 double crochets.
  • Chain 2, then make 3 more double crochets into the ring.
  • Chain 2, join with a slip stitch to the top of the beginning chain 3.

Row 2:

  • Slip stitch to the next chain-2 space.
  • Chain 3 (counts as first double crochet).
  • In the same space, work 2 double crochets, chain 2, and 3 double crochets.

  • Repeat across the row.
  • Join with a slip stitch.

Continue Pattern:

Repeat Row 3 until your shawl reaches your desired size, remembering to add rows as necessary for width. Finish the shawl with a final slip stitch in the last chain-2 space.

Finishing:

  • Weave in all ends.
  • Block your shawl to open up the lace and enhance the wave pattern.
