Crochet Cute Textured Leafy Scrubby Pad Free Pattern
Materials:
- Worsted weight cotton yarn (in green and yellow)
- Size G/6 (4.0 mm) crochet hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
- Stuffing (optional, for added puffiness)
Stitches Used:
- Chain (ch)
- Single Crochet (sc)
- Half Double Crochet (hdc)
- Double Crochet (dc)
- Slip Stitch (sl st)
Abbreviations:
- ch = chain
- sc = single crochet
- hdc = half double crochet
- dc = double crochet
- sl st = slip stitch
Pattern:
Leaf Shape: (Make 2)
- With green yarn, ch 12.
- Row 1: Hdc in 3rd ch from hook, hdc in next 8 ch, 3 hdc in last ch, continue on the other side of the chain, hdc in next 8 ch, sl st to top of the first hdc. (20 hdc)
- Row 2: Ch 2, hdc in same st, hdc in next 9, 3 hdc in next st, hdc in next 9, sl st to top of the first hdc. (24 hdc)
- Row 3: Ch 2, hdc in same st, hdc in next 10, 3 hdc in next, hdc in next 10, sl st to top of the first hdc. (28 hdc)
- Fasten off and weave in the ends.
Assembly:
- Place the two leaf pieces together, aligning the edges.
- Using yellow yarn, whip stitch around the edges, leaving a small space to turn inside out.
- Turn the leaf inside out and stuff lightly if desired.
- Finish whip stitching the remaining edge closed.
Finishing:
