Textured Green Knitted Dishcloth

- Worsted weight cotton yarn in green - Approximately 50 yards.
- Knitting needles: Size US 7 (4.5 mm).
- Scissors.

Gauge
18 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in pattern stitch.
Abbreviations
- CO - Cast On
- K - Knit
- P - Purl
- BO - Bind Off
Instructions
- Cast on 36 stitches.
- Row 1: *K2, P2; repeat from * to end of row.
- Row 2: *P2, K2; repeat from * to end of row.
- Rows 3-4: Repeat Rows 1-2.
- Row 5: *P2, K2; repeat from * to end of row.
- Row 6: *K2, P2; repeat from * to end of row.
- Rows 7-8: Repeat Rows 5-6.
- Repeat Rows 1-8 until piece measures approximately 8 inches from cast-on edge.
- Bind off all stitches loosely.
- Cut the yarn, leaving a 6-inch tail.
- Weave in all ends using the tapestry needle.
Finishing
Block your dishcloth gently to even out the stitches if necessary. Your dishcloth is now ready to use!
