Daisy Center

1. Using yellow yarn, make a magic ring.
2. Chain 1, then work 6 sc into the ring.
3. Join with sl st to the first sc. (You should have 6 stitches.)
4. Round 2: Chain 1, then work 2 sc in each stitch around. Join with sl st. (12 stitches)
5. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Leaf

1. Using green yarn, chain 10.
2. Single crochet (sc) in the 2nd chain from the hook and in each chain across. (You should have 9 stitches.)
3. Row 2: Chain 1, turn, sc2tog (single crochet two together), sc in the next 5 stitches, sc2tog. (7 stitches)
4. Row 3: Chain 1, turn, sc2tog, sc in the next 3 stitches, sc2tog. (5 stitches)
5. Row 4: Chain 1, turn, sc2tog, sc in the next stitch, sc2tog. (3 stitches)
6. Row 5: Chain 1, turn, sc3tog (single crochet three together). (1 stitch)
7. Fasten off and weave in ends.
