Ocean Wave Dishcloth

  • Yarn: Worsted weight cotton yarn in teal color, approximately 50 grams.
  • Needles: Size US 7 (4.5 mm) knitting needles.

Gauge

20 stitches and 26 rows = 4 inches in ribbing pattern.

  • CO - Cast On
  • K - Knit
  • P - Purl
  • BO - Bind Off

Instructions

Pattern Notes

The dishcloth is knit flat using a simple K2, P2 ribbing pattern.

Dishcloth Pattern

  1. CO 40 stitches.
  2. Row 1: *K2, P2* repeat from * to * across the row.
  3. Row 2: P2, *K2, P2* repeat from * to * across the row.
  4. Continue repeating Rows 1 and 2 until the dishcloth measures approximately 8 inches long.
  5. BO all stitches in pattern.
  6. Cut the yarn and weave in the ends using a tapestry needle.
