Pattern Instructions:

Body:

1. CO 80 stitches using the long-tail method.
2. Set up ribbing: Row 1: (K2, P2) across the row. Repeat for the next 5 rows.
3. Switch to stockinette stitch (knit every row) for 6 inches, measuring from the cast-on edge. This will form the body of your sweater.
4. Begin left chevron pattern:
• Row 1: (K2, P2) repeat x20, K20.
• Row 2: K across the row.
• Row 3: (K2, P2) repeat x20, K20.
• Row 4: K across the row.
• Continue this pattern until the piece measures 18 inches from the cast-on edge.

Sleeves (make 2):

1. CO 40 stitches using the same long-tail method.
2. Set up for ribbing: Work (K2, P2) for 6 rows as you did for the main body.
3. Switch to stockinette stitch for 15 inches, increasing by 5 stitches evenly spaced over the last 5 rows. You should have 50 stitches at the end of this section.

Assembly:
