- 3.5 mm (E) crochet hook

Abbreviations
- ch = chain
- sc = single crochet
- inc = increase (2 sc in the same stitch)
- dec = decrease (2 sc together)
- sl st = slip stitch
- st(s) = stitch(es)
- RS = right side
- WS = wrong side
Instructions
Heart Body
- Start with a magic ring: Create a magic ring (or chain 2 and work into the second chain from the hook).
- Round 1: Work 6 sc into the magic ring. Pull the ring tight. (6 stitches)
- Round 2: Inc in each stitch around. (12 stitches)
- Round 3: *sc in next st, inc in next st* repeat around. (18 stitches)
- Round 4: *sc in next 2 st, inc in next st* repeat around. (24 stitches)
- Round 5: *sc in next 3 st, inc in next st* repeat around. (30 stitches)
- Round 6: sc in each stitch around. (30 stitches)
- Round 7: *sc in next 3 st, dec* repeat around. (24 stitches)
- Round 8: *sc in next 2 st, dec* repeat around. (18 stitches)
- Round 9: *sc in next stitch, dec* repeat around. (12 stitches)
- Round 10: Dec around until you reach the last 2 stitches. (6 stitches)
- Fasten off: Leave a long tail for sewing. Stuff the heart lightly with fiberfill.
Heart Lobes
- Repeat the first 5 rounds of the body to make the second lobe.
- Follow the same decrease pattern for this second half starting from round 6.
Assembly
- Position the two lobes together and use the yarn needle and left tail to sew them together, ensuring they are aligned nicely.
- Use running stitch to go around the edge, sewing until you reach the bottom, and leave a gap for stuffing if needed.
- Stuff the heart as desired, ensuring it’s evenly filled.
- Finish sewing the bottom closed, ensuring the stuffing is secure.
Finishing Touches
Weave in any loose ends using a yarn needle. You can make several of these hearts in different colors to create a lovely decoration or gift set. Enjoy your sweet creation!
