Materials:

• Worsted weight cotton yarn in three colors (A: white, B: light blue, C: dark blue)

Gauge:

16 stitches and 18 rows = 4 inches in single crochet

Approximately 5 inches in diameter

Instructions:

Foundation Round:

1. Using Color A, make a magic ring.
2. Chain 2 (this counts as your first half double crochet), then work 15 half double crochets into the ring. Join to the top of the beginning chain with a slip stitch (16 HDC).

Round 1:

1. Chain 3 (counts as first DC), then in the same stitch, work 2 double crochets (DC) for a cluster.
2. In the next stitch, make a slip stitch. Repeat this around to form 8 clusters, ending with a slip stitch to the top of the beginning chain.

Round 2:

1. Change to Color B. Chain 4 (counts as first treble crochet), work 1 treble crochet in the same stitch.
