Materials Needed:

• Worsted weight cotton yarn in 3 colors (A, B, C)
• G (4.0 mm) crochet hook
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle for weaving ends

Abbreviations:

• ch - chain
• sc - single crochet
• dc - double crochet
• sl st - slip stitch
• tr - treble crochet
• st(s) - stitch(es)

Pattern Instructions:

Round 1:

1. With color A, make a magic ring.
2. Ch 3 (counts as 1 dc), and make 11 more dc into the ring. Total: 12 dc.
3. Join with a sl st to the top of the ch 3.

Round 2:

1. Change to color B.
2. Ch 1, *sc in the next dc, ch 2; repeat from * around.
3. Join with a sl st to the first sc. Total: 12 ch-2 spaces.

Round 3:

1. Change to color C.
2. In each ch-2 space from Round 2, work the following: 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc (creating a flower petal).
3. Join with a sl st to the top of the first petal.

Round 4:

1. Ch 1, *sc in the first dc of the petal, ch 1, skip next dc; repeat from * around.
2. In the last space, make 1 sc and join with a sl st.

Round 5:

1. Ch 3 (counts as dc), in the same stitch, make another dc, ch 2, 2 dc (corner made).
2. In the next sc, work *[2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc] (corner) into each sc; repeat from * around.
3. Join with a sl st to the top of the ch 3.

Finishing:
