Pattern Instructions:
Round 1:
Make a magic circle, ch 3 (counts as first dc), then work 11 dc into the circle. Sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3 to close the round. (Total of 12 dc)
Round 2:
Ch 3, dc in the same stitch, then *2 dc in the next stitch*. Repeat from * to * around. Sl st to join. (Total of 24 dc)
Round 3:
Ch 3, dc in the same stitch. *1 dc in the next stitch, 2 dc in the next stitch*. Repeat from * to * around. Sl st to join. (Total of 36 dc)
Round 4:
Ch 3, dc in the same stitch. *1 dc in the next 2 stitches, 2 dc in the next stitch*. Repeat from * to * around. Sl st to join. (Total of 48 dc)
Round 5:
Change to contrasting color. Ch 5 (counts as first dc + ch 2 for the next loop), *dc in the next stitch, ch 2* repeat around. Sl st to join. (Total of 48 dc + 24 ch-2 loops)
Round 6:
Ch 3, dc in first ch-2 loop, ch 2, *[2 dc, ch 2] in the next loop*. Repeat from * to * around. Sl st to join.
