Gauge:

14 stitches x 16 rows in double crochet = 4 inches

Abbreviations:

• ch = chain
• sc = single crochet
• dc = double crochet
• sl st = slip stitch
• sp = space

Instructions:

Base:

1. With Color A, ch 3, join with sl st to form a ring.
2. Round 1: Ch 2, dc 12 in ring, join with sl st to top of ch 2 (12 dc).
3. Round 2: Ch 2, (dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc) around, join (18 dc).
4. Round 3: Ch 2, (dc in next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc) around, join (24 dc).
5. Continue increasing in this way until you reach 60 dc.

Body:

1. Switch to Color B.
2. Round 1: Ch 1, sc in each dc around, join with sl st (60 sc).
3. Round 2: Ch 2, (dc in next sc, dc in next sc, dc in next sc, 2 dc in next sc) around, join (75 dc).
4. Round 3: Switch to Color C, repeat Round 2, join.
5. Round 4: Switch to Color D, repeat Round 2, join.
6. Repeat Round 3 (changing colors at every round) until desired height is reached, about 12 rounds.

Handles:

1. Ch 50 with Color A for the first handle, skip the first sc of the bag, sl st to the next sc on the body of the bag.
