Instructions

Base Piece:

1. Ch 51 (to fit approximately 20 inches, adjust if needed).
2. Row 1: Sc in the 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across (50 sc). Turn.
3. Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc). Dc in each sc across. Turn.
4. Repeat Row 2 until piece measures 20 inches long from the foundation row.
5. Fasten off, weave in ends.

Fern Motif:

1. Start with a magic ring. (Or ch 4 and join to form a ring.)
2. Round 1: Ch 2, 12 dc in ring. Join with a sl st to the top of the first dc. (12 dc)
