Crochet Textured Chic Ear Saver Strap Free Pattern
Materials Needed:
- Worsted weight yarn (approx. 50 yards)
- 4.5 mm (G) crochet hook
- Wooden buttons (2 per strap)
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
Gauge:
16 stitches and 20 rows = 4 inches in double crochet.
Abbreviations:
- ch = chain
- dc = double crochet
- sl st = slip stitch
- sp = space
Finished Size:
Approximately 8 inches long and 2 inches wide.
Pattern Instructions:
- Foundation Row: Ch 30.
- Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each ch across. (28 dc)
- Turn your work.
- Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as first dc here and throughout), *dc in next st, dc in the sp between the next two dc; repeat from * across, ending with a dc in the last st. (28 dc)
- Turn your work.
- Row 3: Ch 2, *dc in next st, dc in the sp between the next two dc; repeat from * across, ending with a dc in the last st. (28 dc)
- Turn your work.
- Repeat Row 3 until you reach a total of 15 rows. If you want a shorter or longer strap, adjust your rows accordingly.
- Final Row: Ch 1, sc across in each dc. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Adding Buttons:
