Materials Needed

• Light worsted yarn (#3) - approximately 200 yards
• 4.5 mm (G) crochet hook

Pattern Instructions

Body

1. Ch 60.
2. Row 1: Hdc in the 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Turn.
3. Row 2: Ch 1, sc in the same stitch, *hdc in next, sc in next; repeat from * across. Turn.
4. Row 3-20: Repeat Row 2 until you reach the desired length for the body, approximately 10 inches from the starting chain.

Front Panels

1. Split the work for front panels:
2. Row 21: With right side facing, ch 1, sc in first 30 stitches for the left panel. Turn.
3. Row 22: Ch 1, sc in the first 30 stitches for the left panel. Turn.
4. Repeat Row 22 until the left front panel measures 7 inches. Do not finish off.
5. For the right panel, attach yarn to the next stitch and repeat the same as the left panel.

Joining

1. Once both front panels are complete, join them by aligning edges and sc through both sides for 5 stitches. This creates the wrap effect.
2. Fasten off and weave in all ends.

Finishing Touches

1. With right sides together, fold the sleeves, and slip stitch or sc to close.
2. For optional buttons, attach two small buttons on the left front panel at the neckline.
