Crochet Soft Textured Baby Doll Vest and Cap Free Pattern

Materials Needed:

• DK (weight 3) yarn
• Crochet hook 4mm (G-6)
• Tapestry needle
• 3 buttons (12mm)

• 14" baby doll

Abbreviations:

ch - chain
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
sl st - slip stitch

Vest Pattern:

Body

1. Ch 39 (adjust for desired width).
2. Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook and in each ch across. (36 dc)
3. Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as first dc), turn. Dc in next 35 dc.
4. Row 3: Ch 2, turn. Pop in the first dc, *sc in next dc, pop in next dc; repeat from * across (ending with sc in last dc). Fasten off.
5. Rows 4-10: Repeat rows 2-3 for pattern. (Adjust length here for desired length of vest)

Armholes

1. Ch 12, join with sl st to first sc (this forms the armhole).

Finishing
