• Yarn: Worsted weight yarn in sage green

Abbreviations:

• ch: chain
• sc: single crochet
• st: stitch
• sl st: slip stitch

Gauge:

16 sc x 20 rows = 4x4 inches

Instructions:

Base:

1. Ch 18. Turn.
2. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across. (17 sc) Turn.
3. Rows 2-20: Ch 1, sc in each st across. Turn.

Flap:

1. Row 21: Ch 1, sc2tog, sc in each st across until last 2 sts, sc2tog in last 2 sts. Turn.
2. Row 22-27: Repeat Row 21 until 3 sts remain.
3. Row 28: Ch 1, sc3tog. Turn.

Edging:

Ch 1, sc evenly around the entire edge of the pouch, placing 3 sc in each corner. Sl st to the beginning ch 1. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Button:

1. Sew button onto the base, centered approximately 1 inch from the top edge of the base section.

Finishing:

Fold the bottom edge up to meet the start of the flap section. Sew the sides of the pouch closed. Your business card pouch is ready to use!
