Instructions:

Base:

1. With beige yarn, create a magic ring.
2. Round 1: ch 1, 12 sc into ring, sl st to first sc to join. (12 sc)
3. Round 2: ch 1, 2 sc in each sc around, sl st to join. (24 sc)
4. Round 3: ch 1, (1 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around, sl st to join. (36 sc)
5. Rounds 4-5: Repeat pattern to increase size until base matches the diameter of your jar's bottom.

Body:

6. Round 6: ch 3 (counts as dc), *skip 1 sc, (1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc) in next sc*, repeat from * to * around, sl st to top of ch-3 to join.
7. Round 7-12: ch 3, *(1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc) in ch-1 space* around, sl st to join.

Top Border:

13. Round 13: Switch to sc, ch 1, 1 sc in each dc and ch-1 space around, sl st to join.

Tie:
