Instructions:

Star Shape

1. Using Color A, create a magic ring.
2. Round 1: Ch 1, work 10 sc into the ring. Pull the ring tight to close. Join with a sl st to the first sc (10 sc).
3. Round 2: Ch 1, *2 sc in next st; repeat from * around (20 sc). Join with a sl st.
4. Round 3: Ch 1, *sc in next st, 2 sc in next st; repeat from * around (30 sc). Join with a sl st.

Forming the Points

1. Divide the stitches into 5 sections for the star points.
2. For each point: In the next section, work the following:
   • Ch 1, hdc in the next 6 sts, dc in the next 3 sts, hdc in the next 6 sts. 1 sl st in the next st to form the point.
