Festive Cozy Snowflake Garland Free Pattern

Materials Needed:

• Bulky yarn (#5) - about 150 yards
• Crochet hook - size L (8mm)
• Twine or ribbon for hanging
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle

Abbreviations:

• ch - chain
• sc - single crochet
• dc - double crochet
• sl st - slip stitch
• sp - space

Instructions:

Snowflake (make 10)

1. Start with a magic ring.
2. Round 1: Ch 1, 12 sc into the ring. Pull tight to close. Join with sl st to the first sc.
3. Round 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), in the same stitch work 2 dc, ch 2, *3 dc in next sc, ch 2; repeat from * 5 more times. Join with sl st to top of ch 3.
4. Round 3: Sl st into the next 2 dc to reach the ch 2 sp. Ch 1, *sc in the ch 2 sp, ch 5, sc in the same sp; repeat from * 6 more times. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

Assembly:

1. Using a tapestry needle, thread the twine through the top of each snowflake. Leave equal space between the snowflakes.
