Base

1. With the darker color, make a magic ring.

3. Round 2: ch 1, 2 sc in each st around, sl st to first sc. (16 sts)
4. Round 3: ch 1, (1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st) around, sl st to first sc. (24 sts)
5. Round 4: ch 1, (1 sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st) around, sl st to first sc. (32 sts)

Body

6. Change to lighter color.
7. Round 5: ch 1, 1 hdc in each st around, sl st to first hdc. Continue to desired height while maintaining the stitch count. (32 sts)

Teardrop Shaping

8. To form the tip, continue with the lighter yarn: ch 1, sc in next 15 sts, turn.
9. ch 1, sc in next 14 sts, turn.
10. ch 1, sc in next 13 sts, turn.
11. Continue this pattern decreasing by 1 st each row until 1 st remains. Fasten off, leaving a long tail.
