Materials:

• Weight 4 Yarn (300-400 yards)
• 5 mm (H) Crochet Hook
• 3-4 Buttons
• Stitch Markers
• Yarn Needle for weaving ends

Gauge:

12 stitches x 10 rows = 4 inches in double crochet

Sizes:

0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months

Instructions:

Body: (for size 0-3 months)

1. Foundation Chain: Chain 60 (or adjust for size).
2. Row 1: Double crochet in the 4th chain from hook, and in each chain across. Turn.
3. Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in next stitch, *skip 2 stitches, 5 dc in next stitch*; repeat from * across until last 2 stitches, dc in last 2 stitches, turn.
4. Repeat Row 2 for 8 more rows for texture.
5. For Armholes: Ch 1, sc across, then skip 18 stitches for armholes.
6. Work Rows for Back and Front Separately.

Sleeves:

1. Chain 30 for the sleeve size desired and work in the same pattern for 12 rows.
2. Attach to armholes using slip stitch and secure with yarn needle.

Finishing:

1. Add buttons to the front with yarn needle.
2. Weave in all ends and block for shape.
