Cozy Textured Boho Cardigan

Materials:

• Yarn: Bulky weight yarn (approx. 800 yards)
• Hook: 9 mm (M/N) crochet hook
• Scissors
• Yarn needle
• Stitch markers
• Optional: Belt for waist cinching

Gauge:

10 dc x 6 rows = 4 inches

Size:

This pattern is designed for sizes S-3XL; adjust as needed for different sizes.

Stitches Used:

• Chain (ch)
• Double Crochet (dc)
• Half Double Crochet (hdc)
• Slip Stitch (sl st)

Instructions:

Body:

1. Start with a foundation chain of 90 (100, 110, 120) ch for the back panel.
2. Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each ch across. (Total: 88 (98, 108, 118) dc)
3. Row 2: Ch 3, turn. *hdc in next dc, dc in next dc; repeat from * across.
4. Continue alternating hdc and dc stitches for 40 rows, or until desired length is achieved. Fasten off.

Front Panels (Make 2):

1. Foundation chain of 48 (54, 60, 66) ch.
2. Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each ch across. (Total: 46 (52, 58, 64) dc)
3. Row 2: Ch 3, turn. *hdc in next dc, dc in next dc; repeat from * across.
4. Repeat for 25 rows, fasten off.

Assembly:

1. With the right sides facing, join the front panels to the back panel using slip stitches.
2. Leave armholes as desired (about 10 inches wide). Seam the sides from the bottom up to the armhole.
3. For the sleeves, attach yarn at the armhole and make 20 rows of the same hdc/dc pattern. Fasten off.

Pockets (Make 2):

1. Chain 30, dc in 4th ch from hook and in each ch across (total 28 dc). Repeat for 8 rows.
2. Attach pockets to the front panels at desired height.

Finishing:

• Add any additional embellishments, such as a belt or buttons.
• Weave in all ends securely.
