Step-by-Step Instructions

Strap

  1. With deep burgundy yarn, pick up and knit 10 stitches along the top edge of the bag.
  2. Work in garter stitch for 80 rows or until the desired length is achieved.
  3. Bind off and sew the strap securely to the opposite side of the bag.

Finishing

  1. Weave in all ends using a tapestry needle.
  2. Block the bag to shape, if desired.
